Oscar De La Renta Pre-Fall 2012

Hello!

Oscar De La Renta has blown me away from his past few runway shows. His collections are so inspiring and all so lovely. I wish I could own/ be able to wear some of his pieces out. I love clothing that is not "ready to wear" the couture pieces and the pieces that are unique. I wish I could wear a gown and go walking downtown. Over all I love this collection so much!!!! I hope you do too!!

The purple in this dress is perfect and I love the plastic bag!!!

Love the pattern on this the floral reminds me a little of a Monet painting.

This blood sequin or beaded dress is just fantastic!!

I love the different textiles and shape of the skirt.

The layering of netting is paired very nicely with the black and gold belt.

J'adore the effortless look to this dress, shredded vibe.

The detailing in the top of this gown is amazing.

This is a goddess gown.

I think the neckline is very interesting and I love the waist line.

For the last three pieces I would do anything to have them!!! The detail in this one...

This is my favorite one of the whole collection!!! I am obsessed with the lace and cool little black pieces sewn all over, it is a work of art.

She looks so elegant in this, I love how Oscar De La Renta makes his gowns very whimsical and big.

Hey guys!

It's the twins again matching and back in action. I have been inspired by this rose it is on my tumblr it won't let me post it on blogger but check it out on (akarisunlight.tumblr.com) and I hope you will be inspired too!! I was going for a darker shoot, hard and soft concept. The ruffles and ripped tights contrast each other. The coldness in the air and the miring of the twins sets off a new story.

First Day of Work!!!

Hey guys!!! Today was my first day working at Frankies on The Park (http://www.frankiesonthepark.com) Was so excited all day to start working! When I got to the shop I got right to work, I started sorting clothes and tucking in tags. I got shown around in the back room and where extra merchandise was. My day was great!! I had lots of fun working retail. Frankies is a store for 7-20 year olds, we have really cute clothes. I love these new sweaters that just came in!! Audrey Platform Wedge Jeffrey Campbell

Hey guys! Happy Sales day! I have been eying these shoes for a while on Nasty Gal.com. I am in love with so many of Jeffrey Campbell's shoes, he is one of the most amazing shoe designers out there. I am in love with so many of his shoes, they are always so different and unique. I love the detailing on this pair, the zigzags and stitching. I was thrilled to see that Nasty Gal was having a shoes sale! Hurry up it ends in a few hours!! I am so excited for my shoes to come! Hope you love them!! -Chloé Akari

Dora and I

Hello!

 On Saturday my friend Dora and I went around Millennium Park and had a photo shoot! We had lots of fun, singing, skipping and running around! We might have climbed and sat on things we weren't suppose to be on but we got great photos from it! The collar I am wearing I made last week, I also wore it to the fashion show, it has lace and pearls on it.
