Hey everyone!
So I'm halfway through fashion camp and I've made 4 1/2 outfits. 2 1/2 dresses 2 skirts and 2 tops. They're made out of old clothes from a thrift store. We were given $15 to buy everything we needed for our collections. I bought a huge black and white gingham dress, a plaid uniform dress, a pink chiffon spotty blouse, a floral skirt, a weird textured sweater, a lace bodysuit, peacock print scrubs, and a blue silk shirt with like eyballs on it. Despite how ugly it all is, I'm still surprised that I got all that for 15 bucks! I think I might spend more time at thrift stores..... maybe.
Unfortunately we're only supposed to make three outfits for our fashion show. So I"m going to have to decide my favorites. Anyways, I'm really enjoying the camp and learning a lot about sewing. Most of what I'm learning about sewing is that it's tedious and the only super relieving moment is when you take the pins out of a garment and everything stays. THat's definitely the best part for me!
