Hey guys,
Last week I went to the SAIC, The Walk Fashion Show 2013. I came as an independent blogger to blog about the event (see pictures below) and had a chance to see the amazing creations of the young talented SAIC students. I had such a great time at the show and party. I also had the chance of meeting Laura and Kate Mulleavy, the sister designers of Rodarte. They are/ were so inspirational and sweet with great advice to share. As for the fashion show, I enjoyed some of the more theatrical pieces along with the ready to wear. There were some really amazing clothes. I enjoyed the whole show but in this post I have selected some of my favorites. I wore the shirt I designed from mens pants, Elisabeth and James skirt, and my Dolce Vita block heels. Then for my mom, she wore the skirt I designed from a mens jacket, a jacket I designed from mens pants and a Calypso top, and Sam Edelman heels. I couldn't be more grateful and happy about attending this special show! I look forward to next years show!
Enjoy!
