Hello!
I had a great photo shoot with Mia and Jamie this week! I styled them both different for each outfit change. I really enjoyed creating such an interesting story for them. I hope everyone is having a great start to their summer and enjoying the nice break! I have been really into adding and layering many different accessories to a simple outfit. In both Mia and Jamie's second outfits they are wearing little ankle socks with their shoes, which I have also been really into! I suggest anyone try wearing some cute socks with an interesting or unexpected shoe. I used a few pieces that are vintage and some new things to create a unique feel to the shoot. I usually wear a mix of new and vintage so this shoot is showing a lot of my personal style, reflected on the girls. Mia is a ballerina, hence the cool poses! I think that the two of them did a great job modeling for the first time! This will not be their last appearance on Chloé Akari! Enjoy the warming weather!

Fleurotica 2013

Hey guys!
On Wednesday I went to a fashion show called Fleurotica! It was a show all done in flowers and the designers were all florists from around Chicago. The show was held at the Museum of Contemporary Art. There were many people dressed up in fun colors and flowers in their hair. I was the only one with a flower crown surprisingly. I made a flower crown that had little white roses and lilacs on it. (see the last pictures) I wore an Arc and Co. dress, Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalks and my crazy jacket from Paris. I had lots of fun seeing all of the beautiful works of art that was transformed into gowns and outfits. The show reminded me of an episode of Project Runway, where they had to use only plants and flowers for the challange, I loved it! I hope to see it again next year. My favorite looks are the first three girls that are shown below. They are so beautiful and should really be preserved if possible. I hope you all enjoy the fleurs!
