I hope that everyone's year is off to a good start! My grandparents recently moved from Santa Barbra to Palm Desert so my family and I went on a much needed vacation. When I first found out that they were moving far away from the beach I was so sad. Upon arriving to Palm Desert I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the desert is. The weather was amazing and the views could not have been prettier. One of the days we went to The Parker Hotel in Palm Springs to check it out. The Parker has such a chic and intimate vibe. There is a perfect mix of vintage and modern throughout the grounds of the hotel. I wanted to contrast the colorful and light background with Danielle and I wearing all black. I feel that both Danielle and my outfits reflect the balance of modern and vintage. My mother kindly let me borrow her vintage Gucci handbag for this shoot to go with my various modern pieces I was wearing.
