Colors Of The Wind

Posted on Monday, December 1, 2014

Hello!
I hope that everyone had a nice little break for Thanksgiving. I had a lovely time up in Lake Geneva with the fam. The dress that I am wearing is such a special piece that was given to me recently. I think the print and colors on it are so amazing. The weather that day was cold and windy with grey/blueish skies so I thought that a washed out background would be perfect for this dress. I find my wardrobe funny sometimes because there is so much black yet there are many colorful pieces too. I like to mix it up and throw in color sometimes (I promise). Stay warm and bundle up!

Enjoy,

My look: Dries Van Noten dress, Prada heels, and HUE tights.

Alexander Wang x H&M

Hello!
As many of you know, Alexander Wang x H&M launched last Thursday. I of course wanted the whole collection but knew that there was such a slim chance of even getting the socks. Because I go to school I was unable to go to the opening. When my mother picked up my sister and I she surprised us and had the huge Alexander Wang x H&M bag in the back seat. Both Danielle and I got a crop top that says, "This is an Alexander Wang cropped top" I love it so much! The whole collection that he created for H&M was solid. I loved that the whole collection was inspired by boxing, both the men's and women's pieces were fabulous. I hope you like our matching outfits. We had a great time "twinning" on Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy,

-Chloé Akari

My look: Alexander Wang x H&M crop top (white), H&M skirt, Y.R.U creepers, and Balenciagia cuff.
Danielle: Alexander Wang x H&M crop top (black), H&M skirt, and TopShop Chelsea boots.

Oddly October

Hello!
Happy Fall! It is that melancholy time of year. Personally I love fall because of the weather and the fashion. I can officially say that fur is totally acceptable from now till spring! Hence my decision to wear this bag. Fall and winter colors are right in my comfort zone so I couldn't be happier with the current color scheme! I have also been really into putting safety pins on random places on my outfits. If you are confused why I have one in my ear and one in my hair, it is because I felt like putting them there. I hope that everyone has a lovely fall!

Enjoy,

-Chloé Akari

My Look: Marni skirt, Jill Sander top, HUE tights, TopShop platforms, and Zara bag.

Simple

Hello!
This is my last post for the summer unfortunately. We spent Labor Day Weekend at our cousin's lake house in Lake Geneva. On our way back home, I decided we should take in some of the rare country scenery. We are both wearing simple all black outfits (not on purpose for once) and very few accessories. Please excuse our field hockey tan lines… we both have been out in the sun almost everyday. I chose to start with this picture of the road because I have a long year ahead of me. This is my senior year and 14th year at the same school, so it is a very bittersweet ending. I hope that everyone had a relaxing summer. Also, I wish everyone luck and peace this year!
Enjoy,

New York Photo Diary

Posted on Wednesday, August 20, 2014

Hello!
This is my first "photo diary". I absolutely love traveling and taking pictures, so I am surprised that this is my first. Most of these pictures were taken on my iPhone so, sorry for the poor quality in some. My little sister Danielle is the other girl in these photos. Most of these pictures were taken in Soho. We spent just under a week in New York and had the best time. Some places that were my favorite restaurant wise were: Balthazar, Tomoe Sushi, Ladurée, and Boqueria. I highly recommend all of them! Here are some reoccurring designers that we both wore: Allsaints, Prada, TopShop, Balenciaga, and Sam Edelman. I already miss being in New York so much! Hopefully another trip is soon to come.

Enjoy,
