White Light

Hey guys!
I miss London! I thought that I should post this before school to try and save my last bit of summer while it lasts. This is from London again with my friend Carlota (http://elles-arrivent.tumblr.com) This was from the same day but different location in Brick Lane. I wore one of my favorite shoes of the summer for this shoot! They are from TopShop. I had not actually done a shoot with the T-Shirt skirt that I made last winter. I thought that I needed to show it in an everyday look. I hope you enjoy one of my last posts of my London trip!

Randolph Street Graphics

Hey guys!
Lena and I went down to Randolph Street and went walking around to find some cool locations for a shoot. When I saw these striped walls I thought they were a must! I wanted to use Lena and my outfits to stand out but go with the back ground. I recommend trying some restaurants over there too, (Little Goat, Maudes, Nellcôte, etc). The dress I am wearing is from London, it is a cool skaterish dress that has an interesting pattern. I also like the small details on it, like the turtle neck and cut on the waist. I tried making Lena and my outfits feminine but yet a little sporty. I have been trying to save summer, this will be one of the last "summery" post!
Enjoy!

Red Soles in Black & White

Hello!
This was my first shoot I did back home in Chicago! Danielle is a lovely friend and model.  We have known each other since age 4 and have been raiding our mother's closets for as long as I can remember. I had lots of fun styling her in the transition into fall look. Black and white photos are my favorite and I felt that this shoot did not need the color. I hope that you enjoy the lovely skyline view of my city. Lets enjoy the summer while we can!

Making Fashion at Central St. Martins

Posted on Saturday, August 10, 2013

Hello!
These are my pictures from my Making Fashion Central St. Martins Course! I absolutely loved this course. I learned so much and cannot wait to get started on making my own patterns! In this course we learned lots about patterns. I highly recommend this course if you are new to pattern design and want to learn the musts of the process. My teacher Louis Loiuzo was one of the best teachers I have ever had. The two courses I took this summer were the best that I have ever taken. I worked extremely hard and learned what I needed to take my next steps in the fashion world. I feel in love with the campus too! Below are some pictures of the Central St. Martins building. My favorite part of the building is the ceiling, because it is all glass and it makes the rooms nice and bright. It is such a beautiful building and everyone who works there is so nice. Below are pictures of some of the patterns we learned. These three were my favorite!
Enjoy,
