Happy New Year!
2015 was one of the most memorable years of my life. It was filled with adventure and new experiences. This year I have met the most amazing people and seen some of the most beautiful places in the world. I was very fortunate this year to travel to several amazing places. I chose these specific pictures to illustrate my year. While moving to New York was one of the best decisions ever, I have grown to appreciate Chicago more. 2015 will be the year I look back on as my year of growth and appreciation. I have never been happier and am excited to share my future adventures with you. Thank you to everyone who made my year so wonderful. I hope that everyone has an amazing year! Enjoy my year in pictures.

Cheers to 2016,

Livestrong and Egg-straordinarily

Posted on Sunday, December 27, 2015

Hello!
Happy holidays and to my fellow college peers, yay finals are over! After days of straight studying, my friends and I decided to take a study break and head downtown. We decided to take an adventure and go to the Kate Werble Gallery to see Christopher Chiappa's Livestrong exhibit. When entering the gallery we made sure to watch where we were walking because there were fried eggs everywhere. When standing in the middle of the room surrounded by the eggs there was an overwhelming feeling that was evoked for me. It is interesting because a fried egg is a familiar everyday object but is out of place on the walls and the ground. Each of the eggs are handmade and made in batches by Christopher Chiappa in his studio in Long Island. He explains the exhibit as an “infestation: cheerful on the surface, with something spreading underneath.” I decided to wear black and white to this exhibit to contrast the saturated yellow yolks. I mixed a few new pieces of mine with some old ones. If you are visiting New York or live in New York, I recommend going to see the exhibit.

Enjoy,

Riverside Strolls

Hello,
I hope everyone had a nice holiday. The other day my friend and I went on a walk through Riverside Park. The park was absolutely beautiful! There were so many different colors surrounding the entire park. Due to the change in weather that has swept through, my outerwear options have expanded drastically. One of my favorite pieces that I have found here so far is my cashmere wrap. The wrap is so warm and easy to throw on over everything. I highly recommend picking up a wrap for this season! Stay warm!

Enjoy,
