Aritzia!!!

Hello bloggers!
It's been a long time, we've started eighth grade and we have about 4 hours of home work a night. so we haven't been doing much blogging. SOrry!!! So we went to the water tower today, and we foudn a store called Artizia. We'd never been inside so we decided to visit and see if it was any good!
It turns out, it's amazingggggg! There are all sorts of cute bandage skirts that run in super small sizes! Great for teens and small adults. It's definitely based at young people though, the clothes are good quality and not ridiculously over-priced. You shoudl visit!!!! it's the best!!!!
Love,

Fashion Camp! "Off The Edge"
Posted on Wednesday, August 11, 2010
Hey Fashion Freaks I just wanted to tell you a little about my SAIC collection. I was going for an edgey but couture look. I put black, zippers, and netting with lace, pearls, and silk. I made three looks that are very different. I am also working on a pin striped button down work shirt, but I'm making it with tool, lace, pearls, and some suede. So that will be interesting! I will be putting lots of pictures up in a few days.

Hey everyone!
So I'm halfway through fashion camp and I've made 4 1/2 outfits. 2 1/2 dresses 2 skirts and 2 tops. They're made out of old clothes from a thrift store. We were given $15 to buy everything we needed for our collections. I bought a huge black and white gingham dress, a plaid uniform dress, a pink chiffon spotty blouse, a floral skirt, a weird textured sweater, a lace bodysuit, peacock print scrubs, and a blue silk shirt with like eyballs on it. Despite how ugly it all is, I'm still surprised that I got all that for 15 bucks! I think I might spend more time at thrift stores..... maybe.
Unfortunately we're only supposed to make three outfits for our fashion show. So I"m going to have to decide my favorites. Anyways, I'm really enjoying the camp and learning a lot about sewing. Most of what I'm learning about sewing is that it's tedious and the only super relieving moment is when you take the pins out of a garment and everything stays. THat's definitely the best part for me!

Maddie and I love Alexander McQueen's designs. He was an inspirational and unusual artist. Alexander McQueen will always be one of my favorite designers and a true legend. We want to write this to say that he will still be loved even in his tragic death. Here are some of his best designs.
