Burberry The Art of the Trench: Opening Party

Posted on Saturday, December 1, 2012

Hey guys!
On Thursday night, I went to the Burberry store opening on Michigan Avenue. I had such a fun time! The store is beautiful, one of the coolest stores in Chicago for sure! I hadn't been into the store before and I love the whole layout, it is so pretty. You are surrounded by my favorite colors, gold, white, and black! There were many fashionable invites at the party and several familiar faces. I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Bailey the designer and head of Burberry!!! He was so nice and such a caring person! I also meet Billy Zane, who is an actor and was also very nice! There was great music DJ'd by DJ Kid Color. To the party I wore: A Burberry skirt, my dad's Burberry pocket scarf in my hair, Vintage beaded jacket, DKNY tights, Jeffrey Campbell shoes, Elie Tahari top, and vintage necklaces.
Enjoy the pictures!

The New Girl: Gianna

Posted on Thursday, November 22, 2012

Hey guys!
This is my friend Gianna! Gianna is an up and coming model, these are pictures for her book. I photographed and styled her. The clothes are from my sisters closet, except for all of the tights, shoes and jewelry. There was not really a theme for this shoot but I was playing with my sisters youthful ruffles and tool. As you guys know, I love big eyes so of coarse I had fun shooting Gianna. This is a pretty special photo shoot, not like my usual. Well for one this is my first time tell you all or introducing a trend that I am going to be making... I have been layering tights on tights recently and I love it! Having two different colors and or patterns really makes people think and brings something fresh to look at. I challenge you to try it! Look 1: MeMoi and Betsey Johnson tights, Chanel bag, Vintage boots, and Double Zero dress. Look 2: Dolce Vita heels, Stradivarius jacket, and Abercrombie jeans. Look 3: Alice and Olivia sweater dress, Aqua leggings and Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalks. I hope you enjoy this special post! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Guns and Diamonds

Posted on Wednesday, November 14, 2012

Hello, finally a photo shoot!
Shocker that there are no more fashion shows?!
Maddie and I went to our friends lake house and we had a photo shoot around the house, in the forest and on the roof. Our friend had some guns and a gas mask laying around so I instantly grabbed them and incorporated them in to the shoot. "The start of the story for this shoot is that Maddie is the evil "Black Queen" her ears dripping with diamonds and pleats perfectly ironed, she stands with her powerful gas mask plastered to her face. She shoots at colors making everything black and white. She accidentally  shoots a moire which bounces back and hits her. Colors explode and are freed from the gas mask." The contrast of diamonds and gas masks makes me happy! I love the hard, dirty, rubber mask with the sparkly over the top earrings. Just because it SNOWED on monday and winter is near that doesn't mean that color should be taken away. I am still going to wear tons of black! Always, it is my fave but I am not against color what so ever.
Yay, for fall colors!
Enjoy this lovely shoot!

Hey guys!
This is the last post and final show of fashion week here in Chicago! Whoo!
At this show I brought along my two great friends Danielle and Jacqueline.
We had a fun time being together during the event and met some really nice people!
I had a great time during fashion week! I can't wait for more upcoming shows and events!
My favorite piece in Anna Fong's collection was the red coat/ dress. I loved it!
I also really liked the pretty white lace with the super white skirt!
Well goodbye Chicago Fashion Week!
Enjoy!
