Test Shot

Posted on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Hey!
So why is this called test shot?
This first picture I took was a test shot, yet it is my favorite picture from this series.
Who is that pretty blue eyed cutie? Olivia, a new face to the blog, but an old friend pour moi.
This was a quick night time freezing photo shoot, my apologies on the lighting, I struggled!
I love the whole vibe to this shoot it is relaxed and much more movement, less posing.
I had a fun time with my girlies, lots of laughs. This photo shoot had no heels involved which is a rare occasion, but I liked that vibe with the combat boots and sneakers. Lena is wearing a Cheap Monday shirt, Chloé Akari skirt, Neiman Marcus leather gloves, HUE tights, and Converse shoes. Olivia's outfits she is wearing my fathers vintage Hugo Boss shirt and unknown pants, black tank, vintage belt, xoxo vintage skirt, Forever 21 tights, and Steve Madden boots. I cleaned up my closet this week and then went to my basement and found the comic skirt and thought it needed to be put up! I have also been loving the mens pants on women, hence Olivia wearing the oversized pants. I hope you can enjoy this chill shoot with these pretty ladies.

Sunset Bridge

Posted on Thursday, December 6, 2012

Hey!
This was a while ago but it is honestly one of my favorite shoots with Sarah! As I have mentioned in the past.. Cara Delevingne is my favorite model. The photoshoot is a mix of skater, princessy, sequins/ sparkly things and Cara if that is possible. That is what was going through my head as I created the looks. I had been envisioning radio hats with my beaded and sequin pieces and then it all meshed together. This photo shoot was one of my more dangerous so I hope you like it because we were risk takers, all for fashion of course. The sunset that day was crazy almost like an explosion on North Ave Bridge. Sticking to my trendish thing I made sure to incorporate layering socks over our tights! I hope you like this different vibe and style! My look: Radio hat, Topshop sequin dress, Club Monaco button down shirt, Urban Outfitters tights, Jeffrey Campbell heels, Ralph Lauren socks vintage jewelry. Sarah's look: Radio hat, Forever21 dress and necklace, Vintage sequin jacket (my new love), Betsey Johnson belt, DKNY tights, Zara socks, and FHR heels.
Enjoy,

Burberry The Art of the Trench: Opening Party

Posted on Saturday, December 1, 2012

Hey guys!
On Thursday night, I went to the Burberry store opening on Michigan Avenue. I had such a fun time! The store is beautiful, one of the coolest stores in Chicago for sure! I hadn't been into the store before and I love the whole layout, it is so pretty. You are surrounded by my favorite colors, gold, white, and black! There were many fashionable invites at the party and several familiar faces. I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Bailey the designer and head of Burberry!!! He was so nice and such a caring person! I also meet Billy Zane, who is an actor and was also very nice! There was great music DJ'd by DJ Kid Color. To the party I wore: A Burberry skirt, my dad's Burberry pocket scarf in my hair, Vintage beaded jacket, DKNY tights, Jeffrey Campbell shoes, Elie Tahari top, and vintage necklaces.
Enjoy the pictures!

The New Girl: Gianna

Posted on Thursday, November 22, 2012

Hey guys!
This is my friend Gianna! Gianna is an up and coming model, these are pictures for her book. I photographed and styled her. The clothes are from my sisters closet, except for all of the tights, shoes and jewelry. There was not really a theme for this shoot but I was playing with my sisters youthful ruffles and tool. As you guys know, I love big eyes so of coarse I had fun shooting Gianna. This is a pretty special photo shoot, not like my usual. Well for one this is my first time tell you all or introducing a trend that I am going to be making... I have been layering tights on tights recently and I love it! Having two different colors and or patterns really makes people think and brings something fresh to look at. I challenge you to try it! Look 1: MeMoi and Betsey Johnson tights, Chanel bag, Vintage boots, and Double Zero dress. Look 2: Dolce Vita heels, Stradivarius jacket, and Abercrombie jeans. Look 3: Alice and Olivia sweater dress, Aqua leggings and Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalks. I hope you enjoy this special post! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
